Some of the Best Beaches in the World are in Long Island, Bahamas

Long Island, Bahamas has some of the best beaches in the world and people come from all over the world just to visit these amazingly captivating sandy gems in Long Island. They all have their own unique characteristics, from the many shells on the calm Caribbean side of the island to the soft sand caused by the waves crashing and wind blowing on the Atlantic side of Long Island.

If you are renting at Dreamscape, one of the rare finds in top knotch vacation rentals in Long Island Bahamas, you will have a wonderful beach for splunking and bonefishing right outside the villa door, known as Thompson Bay. The beach here seems to go on forever and the beach tends to change according to season, weather, and gravitational pull by the moon. So the scenery is constantly changing like artwork on canvas. One week you will have nothing but sand and the next week you could have harder sand with thousands of seashells. Natural sponges and huge conch shells are other natural things you will probably see on our beach. A baby stingray hangs out in the shallows while conch and starfish are a plenty a little walking distance out from the shore.

Find enough shells and make a necklace or bracelet. Walk then entire penisula to the end to find a tiny cay for lobster spearing if you have a knack for diving down to spear your dinner.
